The BANSA HQ Mysteries #3.5
Fuzzy Pain

>_> screw normal punctuation. Just to let you know, Mae does actually talk out loud, since he isn't a normal Bishen in the first place.

Mae winced. What had he done to deserve this? Was it the holy legwarmers crack? "You asked me to come here for a reason, Yes?"

The divine red looked up from his argument with the marine red. "Yes. We do need your--" Kazimir was cut off by Chayala.

"We do NOT need any wisdom, thank you."

Onalai'Fegrukae was perched on a near by couch. The two different shades of reds were arguing in the main hall of BANSA HQ, which was rather empty today. Heaven only knew why, maybe it was another party? The smoke portal sighed, he certian felt bad for the poor ghost.

Kiki bound into the room from a rather obscure spiral stair case. "Guys! Big trouble!"

Mae looked over to the bright digital portal. How did she run around in the real world if she was digital? Wait... That was a stupid question when he was walking around. "What is it Kiki? Did someone get eaten by the typo demon or something?"

Kiki paused. "Um. Not quite that serious. However it seems like something of Kari's was stolen, and she wants us to get it back. We'd have to pick up Miwohada and Dracstan."

Kazi blinked, "What do you mean by "we," eh?"

She looked at him, rather amused, "Kari said she wanted "Kazi, Chayala, Mae, Miwo, Dracstan, Ona and Kiki," to have an adventure." She gave a coy grin.

Chayala snorted, "No."

Mae, Ona and Kazi instantly agreed.

The digital dragon gave them all a happy face. "You can talk to her if you want." She trotted towards the door, "I'll be waiting for you out side." She gave them a heart as she exited.

----

"You, Mae, are a wonderful diplomat." Ona said as he flew besides the ancient stone portal.

"Well. You didn't do any better yourself."

Dracstan snorted. "I need this like a hole in the head." He eyed Mae, "What the heck are you anyway?"

"A ancient stone portal. I'm your predecessor."

Dracstan tilt his head. "Really? Is that why you don't have--"

"Stop pestering Gratia's personal helper." Kazi growled as he flew above the skipping Kiki. "Kiki are you sure that we're going the right way?"

"I'd bet my full name on it."

Cha blinked as she slowly slithered in the back of the line. "What is your full name?"

"Jadzia Rai de Kikime et Teshi."

"...Right."

Kiki's skipping stopped. "Ooookay! We're here!" She gave them a happy smile as she knocked on a giant wooden door. They were in front of a rather bleak looking mansion. Kari had said that she was /sure/ that she had traced the criminal to here. Whoever he or she was, they had very bad taste. All the dragons agreed.

The door slipped open. The seven Bishen looked from one to another. The finally decided to send the three least corporeal members in while the divine stood guard at the entry way and the others took various posts.

Ona blinked as the two others to the other hallways. He was left alone to look at a rather uninteresting bookshelf. Wait, what were they looking for again? Had Kiki even described what they were looking for in detail. No... she hadn't.

Miwo shrieked in the background, shortly followed by Cha, and then Dracstan. What was going on? Ona looked left and right, and decided to go invisible. On the opposite side of the house Mae decided to go invisible as well. Kazi was brandishing his Magical Objects, and Kiki was completely oblivious.

Kazi gave a very girlish shriek before he passed out cold. Whatever it was that was after them, it was scary.

Thankfully, both Ona and Mae had the ability to stay invisible and follow the attackers. Well of course they had to find them first. Of course both of them used their special abilities so the attackers, whatever or whoever they were, would avoid them if they got too close.

That left the oblivious Kiki. She may not have been completely corporeal , but she didn't have the power of invisibility, or such and such aura. She was a pretty "normal" dragon in that respect. Humming to herself she whammed nose first into one of the attackers.

"... Hello...Kitty?" The attacker was a rather small ball of fluff. It was an orange tabby with the same orange eyes to boot. Kiki looked at herself and then to the cat. "You're orange like me!"

The cat mewed before trying to shove its claws into Kiki's nose.

She blinked as she watched it flail helplessly. It mewed again and skittered off. It was obvious off for back up, but Kiki had no idea.

"That was stra--Is someone there?" Ona and Mae returned to their seeable forms.

"Are you all right, Kiki?" Ona asked with wide silver-green eyes.

"Yes... it was just a cat."

"No. It was the infamous, Art! Haven't you heard about him?"

Kiki blinked.

"You know... Kari had a cat army and Art was like the general. There was also a cat named Ivan, who was rather... aggressive. I think they called him the Slicer." Mae said with a sage nod.

Kiki blinked again. "That doesn't really bother us does it? I mean we're not even corporeal ."

Ona blinked, "You have a great point, but it /does/ bother everyone who came with us. They probably shrieked from the shock!"

Kiki nodded before going in the general direction of the cat.

---

"I... can't believe we have to bring this thing with us. Along with this /stupid/ doll." Cha said as she poked a cat carrier Kiki had managed to find in the large mansion formerly belong to a computer millionaire that Kari had thrown out of business.

The cat inside of the carrier hissed and bit down on the bars, missing Cha's tail only barely.

Dracstan was in a corner blowing in a paper bag, Kazi was looking around aimless, and Miwo was ranting about "stupid fuzzy things." They boys were just too afraid to admit they were scared of a cute fuzzy cat. A cute fuzzy evil minion cat no less.

Kiki picked up the cat carrier in her mouth. "This was simple! We should do it again sometime."

"NO!" the chorus rang.

They had a nice warm home coming on the bright side.

Kari squealed as Kiki handed her her cat, "You guys did wonderful! I hope he didn't scare you too much, he can be quite a handful." Somehow the cat seemed smaller in in Kari's arms. "Hey... wait. This isn't my cat!" She gave the fuzzy little cat a disgusted look as it wiggled in her arms. "This is his /brother/."

Miwo whined, "Isn't he good enough?"

The demon glared. "Find Art. Bring him here, and you'll get to throw a party. One for each of you, got that?"

All the dragons eyed Kari. "Party?" Kiki said with wide eyes.

"It means you get to run HQ for a day."

All the dragons shot out of the room in a matter of seconds.

"...Okay. Now what do I do with this?" The cat wiggled more in Kari's arms.

---

"RARGH" Dracstan screamed as he attempted to head but the fuzzy orange monster in the shape of a cat.

"RARGH! YOURSELF" The cat snarled back. Yes. He spoke. In plain English.

Cha boggled a bit. This was utterly pointless, she could be hoarding something or at least bothering Kazi. Speaking of which, where was he? Or Kiki? Or Ona?

Mae and Miwo were standing in a corner looking a little bemused at the situation. Normally Miwo would jump to the occasion, but her found it far more amusing watching someone else struggled with a ball of angry hissing fur. He couldn't have paid to watch better.

Kazi flew above the cat... fight and dropped a newly made metal net that he had crafted with the help of Kiki and Ona the greatest material finders /ever/. The was loud trashing sound as the cat squirmed in the net and Dracstan pulled his horns out.

"That you for the warning!" He yelled up.

"No problem!" Kazi grinned.

The jobs may have been awful. But at least the rewards were good. ^_~

At least they had retrieved the plushie of Dmitrii in a mini skirt.
